Ananda Bhandari is one of the founder members of CNSUK and was a researcher for CNSUK’s ‘Large-scale Survey 2007 – 09 on Nepalis Living in the UK’. Currently, he is Under Secretary at Ministry of Forestry, Government of Nepal. He has more than 25 years professional experience in community and collaborative forestry management programmes, including conceptualizing, designing and implementing a decentralize forest governance system in the forestry sector of Nepal. He has proven knowledge and skills to work with community, multicultural-ethnic group in a different capacity from the field (grass-root) to policy (central) levels. He did his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor in Forestry Science both from Tribhuvan Univeristy (TU) in 1984 and 1988 respectively. He did his Master Degree in Forest Survey and Specialization in Forestry for Rural Development is from the International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Science (ITC), the Netherlands.
