Surrey Heath Museum, CNSUK and the local Nepali community conducted a collaborative project called ‘Nepali Connections’ in 2012. Nepali Connections was an exhibition that celebrated the local Nepali population, both first and second generations, who have made their home in Surrey Heath. The exhibition mainly focussed on Nepal, the Gurkha’s (as Camberley’s history is intertwined with Sandhurst and its military colleges) and people’s experiences of settling in this country.
