The book is edited by Prof David N. Gellner and Sondra L. Hausner and contributed by Dr. Krishna Adhikari, Dr. Chandra K. Laksamba, Dr. Bal Gopal Shrestha , Dr Flo Gurung and Dr-Mitra Pariyar, is primarily based on the research on the Vernacular Religion of Nepal Diaspora jointly conducted by the Centre for Nepal Studies UK and Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology (2009-12) in the UK and Belgium.
