Centre for Nepal Studies UK has appointed Ms Aadya Bhattarai as an intern to work for the research project on business enterprises in the UK led by people of Nepali origin.
Ms Bhattarai will support the research team primarily in generating and verifying database of the Nepali-led businesses in the UK.
Centre for Nepal Studies UK (CNSUK) and South Asia Time (www.southasiatime.com) — a UK-based online news portal, are collaborating in this research project. This project aims, alongside profiling business leaders, to document the evolution, contribution, challenges, and future prospects of the Nepali-led businesses in the UK. It is expected to provide a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and the wider Nepali diaspora.
Aadya will be working under the guidance of Dr Krishna Adhikari of the CNSUK and under the direct supervision of Dr Jaganath Karki of South Asia Time.
Aadya is currently pursuing BA in Law and International Relations at SOAS, University of London.
