2026 Summer Gathering : Focuses on NEPAL DIALOUGE and Research.

CNSUK 2026’s Annual Summer Gathering was held on18th July at Micham, near London. The meeting has decided to celebrate the CNSUK’s 20th anniversary next year and focused to publish more research publications on issues related to Nepal. The Meeting also reviewed yearly activities and decide fundraising for Motilal Scholarship Award.

The gathering began by paying tribute to the recently passed civic leader and human rights activist Dr. Devendra Raj Pandey. Meantime, Speaking at the discussion, Executive Director Lokendra Dhakal pledge to make NEPAL DIALOUGE webinar more participatory and topic-focused. Dhakal added, “In the coming days, we conduct more relevent webinars on Nepali diaspora and contemporary socio-political issues, where we invite all students, professionals and general public to join us live via Zoom.” From January 2025, CNSUK has launched, NEPAL DIALOUGE UK, a monthly online webinar series designed to share knowledge about Nepal, its culture, and its diaspora.

Mitcham Gathering was followed by Mini book exhibition, where Founder Advisor Pro. David Gellner, Founder Researcher Dr Krishna Adhikari, Dr Gangaram Dahal, LN Pandey, Krishna Upadhyaya, Dr Sangita Shrestha Swechcha, Naresh Khapangi was participated.

The event was coordinated by CNS UK Research Associate Dr. Sushma Basnet, featuring Nepali cuisine and barbecue.
